Zina Mercil is a lover of people, connection, compassion, words, artistic expression, and life. In her roles she specializes in increasing personal awareness, growth, and performance while decreasing burnout and health consequences.
Zina is fascinated with mindfulness and the mind/body connection, particularly for professionals, healthcare providers, and patients, and has a MA in Somatic Counseling Psychology and BA in Neuroscience.
Zina’s main role is as the Director of Coaching for Mindful, and she also works with two other national non-profits, Vital Hearts Resiliency Training Initiative and the Project Athena Foundation. Her past work spectrum as a therapist includes mind/body approaches to trauma, addiction, hospice, and life-altering medical setbacks. She's spoken at many national conferences, including Stanford's MedX.
Her first career was as a musical theater performer, and she maintains a deep love of all forms of creativity and the arts.
